If a voter has registered to vote by mail and has not previously voted in an election for a federal office in the State of Missouri, in order to vote the voter must present either a current and valid photo identification OR a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document that shows the name and address of the voter. If the first-time voter does not present this documentation, he or she may not cast a regular ballot but may cast a provisional ballot. |
